Open Communities Alliance et al v. Carson: PRRAC has joined with several other national civil rights organizations in an important challenge to the Trump Administration’s unlawful suspension of the HUD Small Area Fair Market Rent rule. This final rule, adopted in November 2016 after a lengthy rule-making process, would have dramatically expanded housing choices for low income families with Housing Choice Vouchers in 23 metropolitan areas with high rates of voucher concentration. The lawsuit asks the federal court to restore the unlawfully suspended rule. Read the press release here, and you can see the full complaint here.
