Dolbeare Lifetime Service Award at their national conference awards reception on Tuesday, March 19 at 6:00 at the Washington Court Hotel. Please save the date and register now! Brooke, III Housing Leadership Award will be Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME), a housing champion who recently retired after 18 years in the U.S. Senate. Department of Education neglects to include school diversity again: With other members of the National Coalition on School Diversity, we joined a formal comment letter critiquing proposed guidelines for the “Investing in Innovation” competitive grant program. Although the Department approved “school diversity” as a general grant criterion two years ago, we have been frustrated by their failure to include it in their major competitive grant programs.
