Public housing & social housing: As we pursue the social housing ideal in the U.S., it is important to recognize the social housing we already have, and make it better. See the Alliance for Housing Justice’s latest policy brief, “Public Housing: A Central Pillar of Social Housing.”
Between the Lines: Two years ago, PRRAC and NCSD premiered a student-led play created by Epic Theatre Ensemble to explore the connections between housing and school segregation. To mark the 70th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education, we are making a short (23 minute) film version of this excellent production available for free (see the trailer here and an interview with the student playwrights here). To request access, contact Jenna Tomasello at jtomasello@prrac.org.
