With a background in education policy, research, events, and communications, Jenna Tomasello serves as NCSD’s communications consultant. Prior to NCSD, Jenna was an associate director at The Hatcher Group, a full-service communications and marketing firm headquartered in Bethesda, MD that works with education and other mission-driven clients. In that role, Jenna supported strategic communications and events for a variety of nonprofit, foundation, and government clients. She also previously worked as a policy associate at the American Youth Policy Forum, a nonprofit, nonpartisan convening organization based in Washington, D.C., focused on education, workforce, and youth policy issues. Jenna is also the co-founder and president of Learn Together, Live Together, which is also a member organization of NCSD. Jenna has a background in philosophy and legal studies and holds a master’s degree in educational policy from the University of Rochester Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development. As a product of public schools and a first-generation college student, Jenna is a fierce advocate for school integration and has always held a deep appreciation for education and the opportunities it has afforded her.
